Learn moreDave Henderson, a seasoned outdoorsman, presents twenty-one great stories about dogs he’s collected over the years. Although fictional, they represent the wonderful relationship between canine and man. Some stories have been previously published and have been favored by good reviews from all areas of dogdom.
If you have come across them before, then it’s time to get reacquainted, slowly and at your leisure, scouring each adventure as though you owned the protagonist dog. You’ll be glad you did.
Dave Henderson retired from the law after more than fifty years. He has hunted and fished over most of the continent and written numerous magazine articles on the sports. He has also written four books of outdoor essays and stories: Covey Rises and Other Pleasures, Sundown Covey, On Point, and Spook.
Alan Sklar, a graduate of Dartmouth, has excelled in his career as a freelance voice actor. Named a Best Voice of 2009 by AudioFile magazine, his work has earned him several Earphones Awards, a Booklist Editors’ Choice Award (twice), a Publishers Weekly Listen-Up Award, and Audiobook of the Year by ForeWord magazine. He has also narrated thousands of corporate videos for clients such as NASA, Sikorsky Aircraft, IBM, Dannon, Pfizer, AT&T, and SONY.
