"Our biggest fear," says poet and Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh, "is that we will become nothing when we die. If we think that we cease to exist when we die, we have not looked very deeply at ourselves."

It is possible to live every day without being afraid of what happens when we die. Through a close examination of who we are, how we exist, and how we live, we can conquer our fear to live a freer and happier life. Through stories and lucid teachings, Thich Naht Hanh brings peace of mind to a difficult subject, and shows is how to live a happier life, free of fear.

Thich Nhat Hanh (1926โ€“2022) was a Zen master in the Vietnamese tradition, scholar, poet, and peace activist. He founded the Van Hanh Buddhist University in Saigon and taught at Columbia University and the Sorbonne. Thich Nhat Hanh is the author of the national bestseller Living Buddha, Living Christ and more than 60 other books. He was nominated for the 1967 Nobel Peace Prize by Martin Luther King Jr.

Ken McLeod has been studying Buddhism since 1970.ย  In 1985, he became authorized as a teacher and in 1988 developed a new model for working with students that was later used as the basis for Unfettered Mind.ย  His group curriculum was published in 2001, titled Wake Up to Your Life: Discovering the Buddhist Path of Attention. He has narrated several audiobooks by Thich Nhat Hanh and the Dalai Lama.
