“I am always so excited when I see the next bit of this series be announced! I have become so attached to these characters and that is impressive given the size of the cast now that we are at book 4! I have seen plenty of series stumble as the cast became unwieldy and awkward and inevitably had a harder time making the voices distinct and the characters vibrant. I am happy to say that this book managed that hurdle like it wasn't even there. Managing the story from such a cliffhanger of an ending and keeping the tension going The House of Always was interesting in that it almost felt like a bottle episode of a TV show, with that trademark building of tension and uncertainty about the outcome. Expanding the POV even further from the previous books while keeping the main narrative framing device of these events having been compiled and written down I could not stop myself from reading 'Just one more chapter.' I don't want to spoil anything but I left the book quite satisfied with where we are but wanting very badly for the story to continue and to get my hands on the next book. I highly recommend this to fans of the series, it just keeps getting better!”

For fans of Brandon Sanderson and Patrick Rothfuss, The House of Always is the fourth epic fantasy in Jenn Lyons' Chorus of Dragons series that began with The Ruin of Kings.
What if you were imprisoned for all eternity?
In the aftermath of the Ritual of Night, everything has changed.
The Eight Immortals have catastrophically failed to stop Kihrin's enemies, who are moving forward with their plans to free Vol Karoth, the King of Demons. Kihrin has his own ideas about how to fight back, but even if he's willing to sacrifice everything for victory, the cost may prove too high for his allies.
Now they face a choice: can they save the world while saving Kihrin, too? Or will they be forced to watch as he becomes the very evil they have all sworn to destroy.

Twice-nominated Astounding Award finalist JENN LYONS lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, her cats and a nearly infinite number of opinions on anything from Sumerian mythology to the correct way to make a martini. After spending thirty years working as a graphic artist, art director, and video game producer (in that order), Lyons now spends her days writing fantasy. She traces her geek roots back to playing first edition Dungeons & Dragons in grade school—a passion she’s continued as an adult—as well as pursuing whatever craft or skill she’s obsessed with this week: pyrography, beadwork, stenography, furniture upholstery, etc. Her five book epic fantasy series, A Chorus of Dragons, begins with The Ruin of Kings.
