“There is something truly life changing about Lana Ferguson audiobooks and I need everyone to experience the masterpiece of Lachlan's Scottish accent. There were so many layers to this book, I would be laughing one moment and then sobbing along with Key the next. While this story focuses on Key and Lachlan finding a way to break a curse, it is also about undoing generational trauma, taking chances, and not letting yourself sit alone in your grief. This book was heavy at times but I loved the way Key and Lachlan learned to lean on one another. I just love when two lonely people find solace in one another and this was especially true for Key and Lachlan. The smut in the book was also just SO HOT!”

“I’ve read all of Lana Ferguson’s books, and this one is my favorite. I balked a bit at the concept of the Loch Ness Monster being the main love interest, but she immediately won me over when I started reading. The narrators are WONDERFUL. Summers has a long resume, with good reason. I couldn’t find much info on Park (not that I’m any good at finding information), but I definitely hope to hear his work in the future as well. I struggle to sit through audiobooks, but they kept my short attention span in check. ”

“Under Loch and Key by Lana Ferguson had me completely hooked—and as an audiobook? Chef’s kiss. Lachlan’s accent was absolute perfection (I’m still fanning myself). He’s broody, gorgeous, and impossible not to fall for. I loved how the story traces heritage and starting fresh in a new place. Key’s journey to reconnect with her roots while standing her ground against Lachlan? Absolute queen behavior. Their enemies-to-lovers dynamic is ON FIRE—every sarcastic comment, heated glance, and stolen moment had me hooked. The spice level? Whew! Lana Ferguson delivers. The chemistry is explosive, and the steamy scenes were unforgettable. The only reason this isn’t a full 5 stars is that I wanted a touch more closure on some side plots, but honestly, it’s a minor gripe. If you’re into hot Scottish heroes, strong heroines like Key, and an audiobook that melts your ears and heart, grab this one—you’ll thank me later! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ (4.5 Stars) Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️”

“This is not something I had anticipated diving into, but my book club chose it and I'm very glad they did. The audio is a duet and is so well done you will truly forget you're not just eavesdropping on a conversation between a cranky Scottsman and a headstrong American! This book is hilarious, brimming with more than one monster, has many a reference to a Highland cow, and contains the sweetest literary grandfather to exist in story format! A lighthearted and fun read for those looking for their romance to hold a little more whimsy than most. ”

“Enemies to lovers, Scottish Romantasy, Cryptids, Mystery and 🌶🌶🌶🌶 out of 5 on the "spice" scale. I loved the book, but would have preferred a less spicy version. That aside, this book was unique, intriguing, a tad predictable, but with enough twists and turns to make it interesting. Lovers of history, Scotland, cryptids and mystery will enjoy this delightful romance. ”

“Monster Romance but make him the Loch Ness Monster? Say less, I'm in. This was DELIGHTFUL and such a fresh concept. Lana Ferguson never misses and "Under Loch and Key" is possibly her best yet.”

A woman discovers that not all monsters are her enemy—the opposite, in fact—in this new paranormal romance by Lana Ferguson, author of The Fake Mate.
Keyanna “Key” MacKay is used to secrets. Raised by a single father who never divulged his past, it’s only after his death that she finds herself thrust into the world he’d always refused to speak of. With just a childhood bedtime story about a monster that saved her father’s life and the name of her estranged grandmother to go off of, Key has no idea what she’ll find in Scotland. But repeating her father’s mistakes and being rescued by a gorgeous, angry Scotsman—who thinks she’s an idiot—is definitely the last thing she expects.
Lachlan Greer has his own secrets to keep, especially from the bonnie lass he pulls to safety from the slippery shore—a lass with captivating eyes and the last name he’s been taught not to trust. He’s looking for answers as well, and Key’s presence on the grounds they both now occupy presents a real problem. It’s even more troublesome when he gets a front row seat to the lukewarm welcome Key receives from her family; the strange powers she begins to develop; and the fierce determination she brings to every obstacle in her path. Things he shouldn’t care about, and someone he definitely doesn’t find wildly attractive.
When their secrets collide, it becomes clear that Lachlan could hold the answers Keyanna is after—and that she might also be the key to uncovering his. Up against time, mystery, and a centuries old curse, they’ll quickly discover that magic might not only be in fairy tales, and that love can be a real loch-mess.
Lana Ferguson is a USA Today bestselling author and sex-positive nerd whose works never shy from spice or sass. A faded Fabio cover found its way into her hands at fifteen, and she’s never been the same since. When she isn’t writing, you can find her randomly singing show tunes, arguing over which Batman is superior, and subjecting her friends to the extended editions of The Lord of the Rings. Lana lives mostly in her own head but can sometimes be found chasing her corgi through the coppice of the great American outdoors.
