“Ali Hazelwood, aka Master of Misunderstandings has knocked it out of the park with this one. Deliciously frustrating with it's build-up, however fantastically satisfying in its conclusion. Characters talking past each other and having two different conversations at once? Check. A beautifully, consistently misconstrued man who's been in love since Day 1? Check. And a reader who spends the whole book yelling at the ostensibly brilliant, literal rocket scientist/engineer people to stop being stupid and kiss already? Double check! There's also an intriguing plot, and a wonderful understanding of the research and engineering world (which we know from Love Hypothesis, Hazelwood is no stranger to). Also a fun side couple that I hope returns in another book! And an extensive discussion of feline anal glands, that in a testament to Levi and Bee's chemistry (lol) does nothing to dampen the steaminess of the book. Like, seriously, holy hell this is not a PG-13, fade to black situation at all, and thank God and Ali Hazelwood for that. And an absolutely adorable cover to boot!”
