““This Will Be Fun” was epic, fun, cozy, heartwarming, vulnerable and so beautifully creative I didn’t want to say goodbye to the characters at the end. Loved loved absolutely loved. This book surpassed any and all expectations I had for it. The characters felt so real and they had such complex lives and emotions, I couldn’t help but instantly relate to pieces of them. Seeing these four characters ten years after the biggest high (saving the realm) and the biggest low (losing one of their own) was truly so interesting and even a little heartbreaking. Understanding how they all went down such different paths, and discovering why they reacted the way that they did, made them feel so real and authentic. Watching them come together again was cathartic, especially because these are very stubborn, flawed characters. But that didn’t mean that they didn’t deserve to heal and be happy. I struggled with not wanting this book to end because I really loved and cared for the characters and I didn’t want to put them down, but ultimately the ending was beautiful. ”
