Bookseller recommendation
“I'm very particular when it comes to choosing audiobooks. The story has to grab me from the start and the narrator has to have the 'right' voice for the story. Harper Collins, Gillian McAllister, and Lesley Sharp (narrator) hit it out of the part with this book. This listening experience is a rare treat! The story is a fast paced, compelling tale of a mother who witnesses her teenage son stabbing someone... she experiences the police, the trauma of not being able to help him, and a terrible sense that nothing will ever be the same. However, after leaving her son with the police, she goes home and has a fitful night of sleep. When she wakes up, she finds her son coming out of his room... It's the previous day...and then it's the day before that. Can she change the course of her son's future? This will, no doubt, go down as one of my best reads of the year. ”

“I went into this totally blind, and boy am I glad I did because of I had read a blurb I may never have started it. As it turns out I was hooked from the beginning when Jen witnesses her teen aged son commit a murder outside their house, so once I realized what was happening in the story it was way too late to stop listening. This is a thriller unlike anything I have ever read. I am still amazed at how it was plotted and told in such an ingenious manner.”

“Wow. Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister had me on the edge of my seat. Mystery, suspense, science fiction are all rolled into one gripping page turner. I love stories that include time loops and parallel lives, and the possibilities of changing the course of history. Can Jen go back far enough in time to prevent her son from committing a crime, and at what cost to her family? The clues she digs up as she travels backward are twists that leave you, and Jen, guessing until the end. A perfect summer read for thriller fans!”

You can’t believe it when you see him do it: your funny, happy teenage son, he kills a stranger, right there on the street outside your house. You don’t know who. You don’t know why. You only know your son is now in custody, his future shattered.
That night you fall asleep in despair. All is lost.
Until you wake . . .
. . . and it is yesterday.
And then you wake again . . .
. . . and it is the day before yesterday.
Every morning you wake up a day earlier, another day before the murder. With another chance to stop it. Somewhere in the past lies an answer. The trigger for this crime—and you don’t have a choice but to find it . . .
