In 2014 he was the Democratic nominee for lieutenant governor in the state of South Carolina. Sellers is a CNN political analyst. In 2020 he was named to Time magazine’s 40 Under 40 list. Sellers is also a practicing attorney who fights to give a voice to the voiceless. He lives in Columbia, South Carolina, with his wife and children.
