“Dear me, I think Eve's might just be my favorite story of the Brown Sisters series! This book is absolute bliss—hilarity, charm, and burning hot sex in a delightfully diverse package. At first I thought Jacob's autistic quirks were a bit on the nose, but as I got to know him better, the nuance of the character really blossomed. Reading about Eve's milder autism made me realize that I might be autistic, too. Talia Hibbert's #OwnVoices, smutty, full-hearted brilliance strikes again! I can't recommend this one enough.”

“Talia Hibbert writes fantastic steamy romance novels. Her characters have depth, and I always become so invested in their stories. Eve Brown is a loveable, chaotic mess. She flees to the Lake District and ends up working at a Bed and Breakfast. The owner is the exact opposite of Eve - orderly, stern and definitely not a ray of sunshine. Think Roy Kent and Keeley Jones from Ted Lasso. Who doesn't love a grumpy/sunshine trope? ”

“A satisfying conclusion to an absolutely delightful series! In the final installment of the trilogy, we follow the youngest Brown sister, Eve, a lovable hot mess who is looking to prove to her parents that she can get her life together. Her attempts to turn things around lead her to accidentally interview for as job as a chef at a bed and breakfast. The owner of the B&B, Jacob, is Eve’s polar opposite on paper, so they naturally get off to a bad start. It doesn’t help that Eve also hits him with her car! As the pair begin to learn more about each other, the sweetest romance blooms. Talia Hibbert proves once again that she knows how to write a romantic comedy!”

“If you want an instant mood lifter, these books are for you! Hibbert writes a romance that is both cute and fun and STEAMY. Over the course of three books, she follows three sisters and their love lives. The Brown family is delightfully erratic. The sisters each have their own unique personalities and life troubles though were born into a certain level of financial privilege. Eve Brown, the youngest and most unmoored, is the subject of this third novel. Hibbert crafts great characters and a story that is easy to fall into. It will entertain the h*ll out of you if you let it! Eve is fun. Normally, her listlessness would stress me out but she had such a fun personality that was determined as well as indecisive and I enjoyed her internal monologues. I liked that Brown tackled autism in both males and females and demystified it a little (reminded me of Helen Hoang's The Kiss Quotient). Ione Butler was a fantastic narrator. I had listened to Hibbert's last installment about middle sister Dani with Butler at the helm too and thoroughly enjoyed it. She has a very smooth and flirty voice that draw you in and adds sass to her characters. The ending was a little crazy, the entire Brown family once again making things difficult, but I was smiling by the end. Highly recommended to romance fans, Jasmine Guillory/Helen Hoang readers, and those that need a light, fun mental break.”

“Eve is sunshine and chaos, Jacob is all structure and self-reliance - they're both autistic (as is the author), hard-working, and absolutely obsessed with each other from the beginning. Equal parts significant, silly, and sexy, this finale to the Brown Sisters trilogy does not disappoint.”

“I've never met a Talia Hibbert book I haven't absolutely loved and Act Your Age, Eve Brown is no different. Hibbert is a master at her craft, flawlessly weaving humor with romance that's perfectly matched by Ione Butler's performance as she brings the characters to life. If you're looking for a romance to listen to that will make you laugh the whole way through, look no further.”

“Hibbert continues the tale of sisters with Eve and her love him/hate him romance with Jacob, a B and B owner. Butler's reading captures every moment of wonder that signposts falling in love, infusing a little bit of awe in each tiny epiphany. It was touching and real to see these characters' neurodiversity as part of what makes them perfect for each other. We all have our quirks. Sometimes, love is just one of them.”

Eve Brown is a certified hot mess. No matter how hard she strives to do right, her life always goes horribly wrong. So she’s given up trying. But when her personal brand of chaos ruins an expensive wedding (someone had to liberate those poor doves), her parents draw the line. It's time for Eve to grow up and prove herself—even though she's not entirely sure how…
Jacob Wayne is in control. Always. The bed and breakfast owner’s on a mission to dominate the hospitality industry and he expects nothing less than perfection. So when a purple-haired tornado of a woman turns up out of the blue to interview for his open chef position, he tells her the brutal truth: not a chance in hell. Then she hits him with her car—supposedly by accident. Yeah, right.
Now his arm is broken, his B&B is understaffed, and the dangerously unpredictable Eve is fluttering around, trying to help. Before long, she’s infiltrated his work, his kitchen—and his spare bedroom. Jacob hates everything about it. Or rather, he should. Sunny, chaotic Eve is his natural-born nemesis, but the longer these two enemies spend in close quarters, the more their animosity turns into something else. Like Eve, the heat between them is impossible to ignore... and it’s melting Jacob’s frosty exterior.
Talia Hibbert is a New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling Black British author who lives in a bedroom full of books. Supposedly, there is a world beyond that room, but she has yet to drum up enough interest to investigate. She writes sexy, diverse romance because she believes that people of marginalised identities need honest and positive representation. Her interests include beauty, junk food, and unnecessary sarcasm.
