Reinhard Kober, geboren 1962 in Ahrensburg bei Hamburg, hat nach einem Studium der Germanistik und Philosophie in Berlin als Buchhändler, Lektor und Journalist gearbeitet. Als Mitbegründer von geophon ist er seit 2001 dabei. Er ist der Autor und Produzent von acht geophon-Hörbüchern, darunter seine Lieblings-Ohrenreisen nach Ägypten, New York, Paris, Wien und Barcelona. Im Unionsverlag erschienen von ihm mehrere Anthologien.
