“I don't read many books set in the present, but I enjoyed the cozy mystery format of this novel, which follows the story of Rayne McGrath, who unwillingly inherits an Irish castle and the village's responsibility around it. Since she's used to the fast-past world of LA and brand names, adjusting and accepting a much slower pace of life sans upscale shopping and basic internet takes her a while. Much of my reading takes place nightly before bed, and I thoroughly looked forward to listening to Rayne's story and the murder of her uncle as it unfolded!”
