This Time Tomorrow
A Novel
By Emma Straub
Narrated by: Marin Ireland & Emma Straub
Length: 8 hours 37 minutes
This Time Tomorrow
“Straub brings her trademark humor, insight, and disarming charm to a time-travel novel that is at its core a love letter to her real-life dad, novelist Peter Straub (who died after this book was published). Alice, a rudderless almost-40-year-old is not necessarily happy with her life, but is not sure of what her happy life might look like. When she stumbles into a time-travel portal she wakes again and again on the morning of her 16th birthday. Trapped in the 90s, she explores her own life decisions and struggles to find a way to change the fate of her beloved father who, somewhere in the future, is confined to a hospital bed.”

Sea of Tranquility
A novel
By Emily St. John Mandel
Narrated by: John Lee, Dylan Moore, Arthur Morey & Kirsten Potter
Length: 5 hours 46 minutes
Sea of Tranquility
“I highly recommend this book! Emily is amazing! I love that this book incorporates characters and elements from her previous two books, but with a completely new plot: time travel. It’s also very meta in that one of the characters is an author who is on a book tour to promote her bestseller about a pandemic. And, as it happens, there is a pandemic in one of the timelines. At one point, a journalist says to the author character, 'So I’m guessing I’m not the first to ask you what it’s like to be the author of a pandemic novel during a pandemic.' So it’s quite self-referential but in a very clever and fun way that doesn’t distract from the story. There’s a lot going on here, and I love the way Emily always ties every single strand together at the end. So satisfying.”

Hello, Molly!
“My favorite memoir of the year! Molly's positivity, sincerity and HUMOR shine through her story. As a long-time fan, it was fascinating to learn about her family, her training, her SNL days, and working on the movies she made. After finishing, I wanted to go watch all her famous SNL skits and Superstar! Loved listening to this book on Libro.fm because Molly narrates herself!”

Four Treasures of the Sky
A Novel
By Jenny Tinghui Zhang
Narrated by: Jenny Tinghui Zhang & Katharine Chin
Length: 12 hours 18 minutes
Four Treasures of the Sky
“Daiyu survives being kidnapped from her village in China, a trip across the Pacific in a barrel of coal to a brothel in San Francisco, finally escaping to a small mining town in Idaho, only to discover there is no place to hide from the hateful sentiments swirling all around. After the Chinese Exclusion Act emboldens the town's citizens to become increasingly hostile, Daiyu must navigate her own journey of self discovery in the face of growing aggression and violence. While she never flinches at showing the ugly realities of the 19th Century American West, Zhang still manages to imbue her characters with empathy and hope. Underneath its difficult subject matter is a beautifully written novel and a timely social critique that's still relevant today. ”

Cult Classic
A Novel
By Sloane Crosley
Narrated by: Sloane Crosley
Length: 8 hours 9 minutes
Cult Classic
“I'm a little in love with Sloane Crossley after this book. It's like a NYC-based, feminist version of Less by Andrew Sean Greer. Lola is 40 and engaged after a long and complicated dating history. Out with friends, she runs into an ex-boyfriend, then another, then another. As she tries to find closure with her love life, wonderfully bizarre and insightful hilarity ensues.”

“Edgy, futuristic and insightful, The Candy House is another delicious treat from Jennifer Egan! If not for the sheer skill in writing that we have come to enjoy with her books, it would be hard to imagine such a different type of story coming from the same hands. This will be 2022 highlight and will not disappoint her fans! Adding a note on audio - this is so well done! Makes a great audiobook!”

Yerba Buena
“Printz Award-winning author Nina LaCour’s debut adult novel, Yerba Buena, is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. It’s the story of two lost women who find each other against all the roadblocks and barriers they’ve each surrounded themselves with. It’s also Nina LaCour at her best, her command of the English language is on full display here-I honestly believe there is nothing she can’t do.”
