Summary

Las plumas del caburé is an amusing short novel by Vicente Blasco Ibáñez that takes us to the convulsive region of Corrientes, on the border between Argentina and Paraguay, at the beginning of the 20th century. In this story, full of irony and action, you will find the mestizo America, an heterogeneous pot of cultures and beliefs; the political tensions of the time; a portrait of life at that time and place; and some endearing characters. An almost "far west" adventure with the personal touch and the detail that always gave the author's capacity for observation.
