Una industria que vive de la muerte is an interesting short story by Benito Pérez Galdós in which, during a cholera epidemic in Madrid, he contrasts the suggestive capacity of music and the sounds of mundane life. The author offers us interesting paradoxes barely sketching some characters, and he has the capacity to make us reflect from an episode where life makes its way after the storm.
