Summary

Bikram is an Indian software professional who had migrated to America many years back on work and had since then settled down permanently like many skilled and highly educated Indian professionals in that country. After a few years, he started his own family and married a homely Indian woman named Shefali, whom he moved overseas with him from India with a permanent visa.
