The first play in UK playwright Vince Stadon’s series the Misadventures of Sherlock Holmes

A comedy of chilling proportions, The Misadventure of the Disgruntled Physician—featuring world famous sleuth, Sherlock Holmes and his trusty cohort in crime-solving, Dr. Watson—poses a diagnosis most diabolical: Has Sherlock Holmes lost his mind? What would make him execute a poor, helpless pig … and in the living room of 221B Baker Street? Or is this a matter of some convenience? Did Mrs. Hudson forget to go shopping for breakfast bacon?

Vince Stadon is a writer and producer for stage and radio comedy, one half of the theatrical production team Little Epic Theatre, a gag writer for panel shows, and the author of essays, articles, sketches, and reviews as well as the creator and writer of the Misadventures of Sherlock Holmes.

The Petaluma Radio Players are the North Bay’s most eclectic and energized radio theater company, churning out a cornucopia of radio plays that include vintage dramas like One Way Passage (1932) and Trifles (1916), modern fare like the tear-jerking The Next Move, and in-stitches comedic noir parody like Story: A Detective Story.
