Julie Gassman is the author of the Do Not Take Your Dragon series as well as several other children’s books. Raised in Howard, South Dakota, the youngest in a family of nine children, she traded in small-town life after college for the world of magazine publishing in New York City. Now she lives with her husband and their three children in southern Minnesota.

Mare Trevathan has lent her talents to hundreds of audiobooks and countless regional and national commercials. A voice and text coach for the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, she also teaches voice acting for the Tony-winning Denver Center for Performing Arts.
