What's the secret to a life of happiness?

In this delightful audio book, brimming with poignant passages, radio personality Hugh Hewitt provides the answer. The starting place is generosity, he says, and there are seven gifts that are sure to improve the lives of both giver and receiver:

  1. Encouragement

  2. Energy

  3. Enthusiasm

  4. Empathy

  5. Good Humor

  6. Graciousness

  7. Gratitude

Anyone can give them, but Hewitt shows that some people are particularly well-placed to offer them: parents, spouses, family members, friends, teachers, coworkers, and fellow church members.

Drawing on his experience as a broadcaster, journalist, lawyer, and teacher, Hewitt details these seven gifts and seven givers, inspiring and motivating listeners to become generous in the ways that matter most.

Hugh Hewitt is host of the nationally syndicated Hugh Hewitt Show. Hewitt is a professor of law at Chapman University Law School and a lawyer in private practice. He is the New York Times best-selling author of If It’s Not Close, They Can’t Cheat as well as the author of fourteen previous books on faith, politics, and the law. Hewitt writes weekly for the Washington Examiner and townhall.com, and lectures frequently at colleges and universities across the country. Broadcasting on both television and radio, he has conducted more than ten thousand interviews since it began in 1990. He and his wife live in southern California and have three children.
