Chaos and confusion mount to a crescendo in a wild and fast-paced comedy of mistaken identity, one of Shakespeare's earliest plays.

Young Antipholus of Syracuse is searching the world for his identical twin brother, separated from him at birth. With him is his servant Dromio, who lost his twin brother at the same time. The pair arrive in Ephesus where, unbeknownst to them, their twins are living.

Antipholus of Syracuse is played by David Tennant, Antipholus of Ephesus by Brendan Coyle. Alan Cox and Jason O'Mara are the two Dromios, while Niamh and Sorcha Cusack play Adriana and Luciana.

E. A. Copen lives deep in the deep dark woods outside one of the most haunted cities in Ohio. While working a boring retail job, she entertained herself with stories of the fantastic, some of which became books like Guilty by Association, Death Rites, and Broken Empire. She speaks three languages fluently: English, Latin, and sarcasm. E. A. is currently studying to become proficient in memes.

William Shakespeare was born to John Shakespeare and Mary Arden in late April 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon. He wrote about 38 plays (the precise number is uncertain), many of which are regarded as the most exceptional works of drama ever produced, including Romeo and Juliet (1595), Henry V (1599), Hamlet (1601), Othello (1604), King Lear (1606) and Macbeth (1606), as well as a collection of 154 sonnets, which number among the most profound and influential love poetry in English. Shakespeare died in Stratford in 1616.

Best known as the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad—the #1 personal finance book of all time and a New York Times bestseller for more than six years, Robert has challenged the way millions think about money. Robert’s military training began in 1965 when he received Congressional nominations to the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, New York. In 1969, he graduated from Kings Point, and flew helicopter gunships in Vietnam for the U.S. Marine Corps. In 1974, he left the Marine Corps and began his career as an entrepreneur. In 1978, his products were recognized as the top new products in the sporting goods industry, featured in Runners World magazine, GQ, and even Playboy. His product line expanded into the rock and roll industry with products for rock bands like The Police, Van Halen, Duran Duran, and others. In 1984, Robert sold his business and began teaching entrepreneurship and investing throughout the world. Today, he is recognized as a leading entrepreneur in financial education and believes that without his military training he “would never have survived as an entrepreneur.”

David Tennant, Earphones Award-winning narrator, is a Scottish actor who, over twenty years, has starred on stage, screen, television, and radio. In 2008 he played a widely praised Hamlet for the Royal Shakespeare Company but is probably best known for his role as the tenth incarnation of the Doctor in Doctor Who, along with the title role in the 2005 television serial Casanova and as Barty Crouch Jr. in the 2005 film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Reviews

“This Arkangel production is superb in bringing to life and laughter a bawdy, hilarious tale of mistaken identities and misadventures. Underlying the witty dialogue is an offbeat, bright, and bouncy musical score (piano and xylophone), punctuated by unexpected bursts of rib-tickling but authentic sound effects. Outstanding performances are given by David Tennant, Brendan Coyle, Jason O’Mara, and Alan Cox, but the kudos go to Helen Ryan, who portrays the wicked Abbess, a performance not to be missed…Winner of the AudioFile Earphones Award.”
