Eleven years ago, Lindsey Nash escaped into the night with her young daughter and left an abusive relationship. Her ex-husband, Andrew, was sent to jail, and Lindsey started over with a new life.

Now, Lindsey is older and wiser, with her own business and a teenage daughter who needs her more than ever. When Andrew is finally released from prison, Lindsey believes she has cut all ties and left the past behind her. But she gets the sense that someone is watching her, tracking her every move. Her new boyfriend is threatened, her home is invaded, and her daughter is shadowed. Lindsey is convinced it's her ex-husband, even though he claims he's a different person. But has he really changed? Is the one who wants her dead closer to home than she thought?

With Never Let You Go, Chevy Stevens delivers a chilling, twisting thriller that crackles with suspense as it explores the darkest heart of love and obsession.

Chevy Stevens is the author of Still Missing and Never Knowing. Before becoming a writer, she worked as a realtor. When she held open houses, she had a lot of time waiting by herself between potential buyers, and Stevens would spend this time scaring herself with all the things that could happen to her. The most terrifying scenario she thought up became the story behind Still Missing. Stevens grew up on a ranch on Vancouver Island, and she still calls the island home. When she’s not writing, she’s hiking with her husband and her dog in the local mountains.

Narrator Rachel Fulginiti is a two-time Audie Award finalist and Voice Arts Award recipient with a passion for books and storytelling. Her work spans a variety of genres, including mystery-thriller, romantic comedy, women's fiction, horror-paranormal, and nonfiction, especially in the areas of self-help, new age, and technology. Originally from New Paltz, New York, Rachel earned her BA in acting from the University of New Hampshire and is a graduate of the Two-Year Meisner Conservatory at The School for Film & Television in New York City. A veteran of the stage, she fine-tuned her craft doing theater and sketch comedy before transitioning to life behind the mic. When she's not in the booth, you can find her hiking with her dog Maynard, pulling tarot cards, or fronting her rock band, Fantasizer. She is also a foster family advocate and the proud mom of two amazing children adopted through the US foster care system.

Caitlin Davies is a New York City-based actress, director, and award-winning audiobook narrator. She has narrated a number of popular series and has been nominated for multiple Voice Arts Awards. She was also part of the full cast recording of The Unfinished Life of Addison Stone, which received an AudioFile Earphones Award. Audiobooks she's narrated have been Top Ten selections for YALSA's Amazing Audiobooks for Young Adults and have received starred Booklist reviews and Parents' Choice Awards. Caitlin holds a BA in English from Vassar College and an MFA in acting from Brown University/Trinity Repertory.

Reviews

“The claustrophobic suspense is beautifully conveyed by the measured desperation in Fulginiti’s voice. Davies is perfect as the teenage Sophie, who is both struggling to understand her mother’s situation and longing for a father.”

“Fulginiti creates a compelling voice for the not quite-middle-aged mother who believes she has put herself and her daughter beyond the dangers of her ex-husband…Davies, who recounts Lindsey’s teenage daughter’s perspective, offers a suitably young tone and energetic pacing, giving listeners the opportunity to sink more deeply into the twists and turns of the story..”

“This mystery is not easy to figure out and will keep readers quickly devouring the story to discover what exactly is going on…and it will not be the expected answer.”

“Stevens’s taut writing and chilling depiction of love twisted beyond recognition make this a compelling read from the first page to the last.”

“The hooks that sink in from page one and dig ever deeper, through to a thrilling and unanticipated end, are all the more frightening for their invisibility.”

“Stevens’ take on a familiar woman-pursued-by-abuser plot has sparked a fast-paced thriller with a surprise twist.”

“Disturbing, suspenseful, and just a little nerve-wracking, this fast-paced psychological thriller will keep fans of Gillian Flynn’s Gone Girl on edge.”

“The gripping, often terrifying story follows Lindsey as she endures the roller coaster that is survival…Stevens’ portrayal is spot-on.”
