A Body of Divinity, considered a classic among seventeenth-century Puritan works, contains a series of sermons on the Westminster Catechism, a central catechism in English-speaking Calvinist churches. Watson details several of the questions and answers from the Catechism:

What is the chief end of man? Did all mankind fall in Adam's first transgression? How does Christ execute the office of a priest?

In covering these topics, Watson touches on a large portion of the basics of orthodox Christian theology.

Thomas John Watson, Jr. (1914–1993) was an American businessman, political figure, and philanthropist. He was the second president of IBM, the eleventh national president of the Boy Scouts of America, and the sixteenth United States Ambassador to the Soviet Union. He received many honors during his lifetime, including being awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Lyndon B. Johnson in 1964. Watson was called “the greatest capitalist in history” and one of “100 most influential people of the 20th century” by Time magazine.

Andrew Reilly is an actor, narrator, and teacher who has lived in ten countries. Andrew has taught language learning through drama in Russia and Romania, and English in the West Bank, Palestine, and Saudi Arabia. He is fluent in French, Spanish, and German.
