On their descent, Jim Davidson fell through an ice bridge on Rainier's northeast flank, plunging eighty feet into a narrow crevasse inside the Emmons Glacier and dragging Mike Price in after him. Formerly an environmental geologist, he is now a professional speaker with Speaking of Adventure and has spoken to more than 30,000 people across the United States and overseas. He lives in Fort Collins, Colorado, with his wife and two children.
