This book is NOT Jim Carey’s memoir, though at times it uses bits and pieces of his life—naming many celebrities (Nic Gage is his best friend, Gwyneth Paltrow becomes an avenging killer), as well as mentioning events that really happened. It’s fantastical and weird (okay, one plot element—Jim Carey is asked to play Chairman Mao, and really gets into Mao’s head).
